Talk to your supervisor and get an idea of what you will be doing in your job.
Find out which site you will be working on (Meyrin and Prevessin). This will be useful when deciding where you want to live and how you are going to get around while you are here. See the accommodation guide to choosing where to live for more information
Make sure all your documents (passports etc) are up to date and get insurance for your possessions
Book your hostel place or hotel room unless you are one of the few who has prearranged accommodation
If you have previously insured a car and want to recieve a discount on car insurance here - obtain written proof and bring it with you
Get any prescription medication you normally take - save yourself the hassle of finding a doctor in the first few weeks
